Mitigation B. ALH cannot take any special precautions to prevent mass casualty incidents or industrial accidents. C. ALH will continue to develop redundant capabilities and backup systems for use during utility and communication system interruptions. D. ALH will conduct hazard vulnerability analysis to identify potential emergencies, the probability each event might occur and how well prepared ALH and supporting community agencies are prepared to respond. The analysis will be used in developing this response plan, conducting exercises and other preparedness activities. E. ALH shall comply with the Life Safety Code® and other applicable NFPA codes, the International Building Code and the AIA Guidelines. F. ALH will work with the Athens-Limestone Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Limestone County Health Department (LCHD) and other agencies to develop an effective community-wide response. G. ALH will provide or participate in community education programs to lessen the impact of potential hazards such as a pandemic flu. H. Implement an aggressive staff flu vaccination program. |
